sbenz - you start it, but only pick 'mutually agree to cancel' if you are 1000% sure the buyer will agree, cause if they don't, you don't get your final value fees back and you can't refile.

Will someone give me your opinion on an auction that just sold, my auction sold 17.00 for 3 pc. tea set. Description stated that there was a small crack in one of the pieces. Buyer after the auction stated that they did not want it and would like me to cancel the auction, as they did not see that I stated till after the auction that there was a small crack. Do I or does the buyer start filing a problem with the resolution center?

badben, he will understand days like that. That's what I get for working without the long sleeve gloves, but I knew it would only take a minute to catch the bent back leg and pull it up into position. It would take 20 minutes to make the trip to the house to get gloves and get back to the cow and in that 20 minutes I could loose a live calf.

pam, yep, fished around in there and found it and then I threw it on the seat of the four wheeler and another cow picked it up and tried to eat it! I managed to pry it out of her mouth. It still runs but the clasp was bent and I had to have the band replaced. It was one of those days! LOL

pam, a cow in labor doesn't require strength, even the vet uses a tool. The only time I have to call the vet with a cow in labor is if it's a case were the calf has to be cut up to get it out.

hh - i can understand that. i think many of us get to the stage where being on call drives you into the ground. also, we have a lot of girls qualifying here. i know you're strong as an ox but i suppose some of them couldn't manage a cow in labour.

pam, large animal vets are getting rarer! Mine ended up as a research animal veterinarian. Not near as many night time emergencies and he only has to work one weekend a month.

pam - animal welfare vets are practically unheard of here. Sometimes low cost spaying/neutering/shots, and an extreme few that have funds for indigent owners. Many do a few charity cases on the sly but usually not the kind of situation cindyinga has. Can't hurt to ask around but the chances are slim :-(

I was hoping to get up and find that the forecast was wrong. But it's now another 10 to 20 inches, up from the 6 to 18.

silver I am so sore. I am having trouble keeping the sheep in water...and I've got to figure out away to put hay in the barn for the cows, but the gates can't be opened. Might have to cut some fence.

((cindyinga)) sorry to hear about Miss Priss. kidney failure can't be cured but can sometimes be managed for awhile. Special food, sub-Q (under the skin) fluids. Do a search for CRF in cats (chronic renal failure). It can be expensive, depending on what vet you use and what (and how often) tests they run. The food and the fluids are pricey too. sorry....

cindy, yes be guided by the vet. when i've had to make tough decisions, i've asked him 'what would you do if it was your cat?'. i also asked if he minded being asked that. he said not at all.

Pam thank you for your understanding. She does pull on my heart. In the summer time Miss Priss likes to bring my live mices as a gift. She like to sleep on top of me at night. I would just like to have her a little longer.

Pam it looks like Miss Priss Kidney are not working right any longer. She is 12 years old and it happens. She is a great cat. I love her so much it brakes my heart. But I will not have her in pain.
