Hello,
I'm deseprately seeking brown lace up boots called "minnie" designed by Vince Camuto in size 9, 9.5 or 10.
I've searched high and low even called the distibutor and they are out of stock.
Endless shoes have these in black but I want the brown.
Does anyone know where I can purchase these boots or does anyone have a pair they want to sell?

Hi all! LTNS! Hope everyone is doing well. Just thought I'd pop in while I had a spare second.

I'm excited about the changes ebay is making for stores. Now everything will be brought up in every search, not just if people know to click 'see more items in ebay stores'. If you pick the right plan based on your # of items your fees shouldn't really be increasing. FVFs for clothing are staying the same, and if you have 200+ items and choose the $50/mth plan you are only paying 2c more a month per listing to have full exposure, which should in turn boost your sales.

How can I tell if my Burberry scarf is a fake? The item number is 180463183885 and it's the first time the seller has been on ebay to sell anything (no feedback either way). It looks symetrical and the fringe is good. It feels like cashmere. Label is ivory and says BURBERRY on top then underneath says
100% CASHMERE
MADE IN SCOTLAND
DRY CLEAN ONLY
It's sewn onto the scarf at both side ends but not top or bottom of tag

I have recently read the entries to this discussion forum, which is why I registered with ebay. I have been working in the retail industry for quite some time and now want to sell online as well.

Would a professional seller say that ebay is a better way to sell vs. a personal website or use both? Has anyone been dooped by purchasing clothing form an online wholesaler? With patience and research, of course, how long would it take for a ebay seller to see monetary reward in terms of months/years?

Today, due to the changes coming in April, I upgraded my store from a Basic to a Premium and I'm not sure why???? How's that for business savvy?

Anyone else struggling to understand the effect the changes will bring?

Garbolatry custom clothing has taken 165 dollars from me on oct 2 and still no product. she stalled past the 45 day complaint time by saying she was searching for the fabric. I ordered exactly as pictured and she is still showing the same dress that she told me was not available. Don't deal with her unless you can afford to lose the money. I couldn't, but so far have.

Just wondering???? Is Anyone Selling ANYTHING????? I haven't sold anything on many weeks...

Jdino75, my suggestion is that you contact the buyer, let them know about the stains (Hey, they are kids clothes)....I am sure they may expect some stains).....\But you do need to let them make that choice, perhaps toss in another item just to make up for the stained ones....

I need to buy some shoes for someone. Is women's shoe size 8 1/2 AA the same as 8 1/2 N?

I am from Australia and buy all my clothes/shoes from America either on e-bay or Victoria secret. I believe the success is to buy brand name clothes as you are guaranteed of the quality you going to get. So far I only buy belldini and cache tops and shoes nine west, carlos santana and steve madden. I am not really familiar with other good quality brands apart from the ralph lauren tommy hillfiger.
Can anybody recommend other high quality name brands that I can follow on e-bay. I love simple, sexy but ELEGANT pieces like belldini and cache. Any other brand names similar to belldini or cache? Thanks and Regards from down-under. Mercia

All of you wanting to know about handbags should go to the purse and accesories discussion board, they should be able to answer your questions there. Likely they will want to see a picture of what you have.

I think you can open another store under your same user name, you just have to have a differant store name.

Hi everyone! I have been selling on ebay for about 2 months now, I have sold authentic Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Gucci out of my personal collection. I found these great website where they claim to sell authentic items, I ordered some Coach wallets and listed them on ebay, they were removed because ebay said they were counterfiet. I've seen the exact same wallets being sold by other seller and theirs were not removed. Can anyone tell me where can I get my wallets verified to be authentic I don't want to get my account suspended. Thanks in advance

Hi to all. I have been selling on ebay for about 2 months so I am fairly new to all of this. I checked my stars today and see that some are dinged. Not much at all but still enough to make me wonder. I think I got a low rating but am unsure of how to tell. This would be my first if I did. I shipped items Tuesday after the weekend. I was not able to get the iems out sooner due to the post office being closed for the weekend and MLK day. Does anyone know how to tell about the rating? I am very picky about what I sell and am pretty upset about this rating. Thanks in advanced!

Please read the policy above!!! It says in RED no selling or advertizeing on the boards. You could cause this thread to be closed for your violations. That is unfair to others.

Well thats a bummer Dolores!!!

Doreen it has helped me on not having to take some back. When you take the time to measure for them for fit, they should be able to read. Although I admit shoes are hard to do. I kick myself everytime I buy them for resale.

Lindahealthy, did she have to wait long ? Sorry about that, but at least it was not a neg.

I goofed. I found a deal on Liberty cotton, but it wasn't Liberty cotton. It was plain ordinary cotton with a statue of liberty print. The seller got a positive. It was my fault for not reading or asking questions. Fabric will go to the thrift.

Hi sue ebay makes you return even if you say that. sucks after all the work . and shipping price just went up.
Posted by   ( ) on Jan-16-10 at 04:17:42 PST   Listings
LOL!!! I needed that!! HA!

Hello everyone. Good to see you.

Beads, I would just say partially lined bodice on your dress

Linda, I know what you mean..there are a lot of bottom feeders on ebay. They either want to get it for nothing, or cheap insulting offers.

I try to mention any flaws, price mostly in the middle you will know by looking at how others are priceing. Everytime I offer something too low I get a pita..not worth it.
The new feedback is totally unfair. I can see where there was some problem people before, but this is totally a wreck. You offer cheap shipping and you are dinged even if you send it right away. you go priorty for faster shipping and you are dinged for cost. I keep track of who leaves what in my summary.

To find out what people are interested in look at vogue and other fashion mags. It will give you an idea of styles and what era for vinties too. then look at neme brands to see what is going good. Go to the clothing discussion board for tips.
I better get off of here ..it's after 4 and I have not gone to bed yet. So sorry for the spelling.
Just do some snooping and homework. LOL!

Good Luck to you all. Remember good pics..good descript..and measurements and list flaws. State you do not take returns on size if you measure everything.

Later, Sue

2boyznana I think the TSR requires 100 sales per month.

lindahealthy I really have not had any serious problems. One very slow pay . But he did pay. And one that has not paid. I have had an item returned buit it was my own fault. It was a Fuller carpet sweeper that would not pick up the dirt. Much to my chagrin I had not tested it. I suggest to the buyer that he get a mechanical minded friend to look at it as I felt that it was a simple adjustment. And I was right. Anyway , he sent it back. I offered to pay return shipping but he has not let me know the amount. He had used the UPS charge of a major department store so the shipping cost was not on the package. He probably did not pay it out of his pocket.

Hello, does anyone know the answer to this questions, please...in order to rate as a "top rated seller" it says you have to get "100" - what does that mean, 100 sales? 100 listings? 100 per month, per year? Can anyone clarify this for me, please? Thank you so much!

I'm getting some of the most hard headed people who are giving me a tough time. First buyer purchased a pair of boys tennis shoes then emailed me and asked for an full refund, no explanation as to why. She only said the shoes was damage and not stated in the discription. I asked her what was wrong, got no respond, next thing I get is a notice from Ebay saying she has filed a claim against me. When I explained my side the case was closed and Ebay paid her. Now I get an email saying she wanted a refund from another buyer, On Dec. 13 2009 I placed my store on vacation until Jan 07,2010 when I returned I shipped out all items purchased, now she says she didn't see the sign and she want a refund for the delay. Not that she was returning the item just that she wanted a refund. Boy it's hard trying to sell and make ends meet.

Hello everybody,
Haven't bee here in a long time but I am still trying to dispose of all the clothing which I bought in my crazy days. It is going slowly . But a pice here and there.

I have this vintage dress which, when I first started working on it , I thought was hand made. Then I found the union label. The problem is this--- in constructing the dress the lining and the fabric of the dress was sewn as one layer. Does anyone know if there is a name for this type of construction? Take a look at the image. I hope you can see what I mean. Thanks Helen

Maycouture, I would personally ship the dresses via regular US Postal Service first class mail. Since they are light it shouldn't cost much, plus if I recall correctly there is a postage cost calculator on their site so you can see how much it will cost before you get to the post office.

Hello

I have a question, I bought a (army)green vintage military looking wool coat. I can't find any labels or markings on it. It is partially lined in the shoulders and back. Is there anyway to tell if it is a military and from what era? Do they hide marks sometimes?

Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks! Chrystika

I'll give you one reason why thias country is going to ruins. it started in 1913 for reals with the federal reserve act. find out who was in the group who did that and you'll know who it is cuz it is the same ones today all over the world controlling western culture.and if you dont wake uop to it , you are doomed to misery and death just liek they do everywhere when they get this position in their hosts country..if you think russia in 1917 was over thrown by communists think again.and think again your whole concepeption of history last 200 years becuase it is wrong.if you get your info fropm newspapers, television, radio, you are not perceiving the world as it is.if you forgot you are a child of your creator and have a awareness apart from this physical body you might want to take stock of where you came from and who made you. you might want to have a talk with your creator.inshallah

Hello-

I recently bought an Armani skirt, described as being Armani Black Label.

The label is a rectangular back label, with white lettering.

A white tag with fabric content aslo says HILTON S.P.A. at the top. Does this sound authentic ?

Thank-you .

Hi, new to this chat. I am very naive about clothing, but got some great deals on a few designer clothes. Well, I listed a Liz Claiborne blouse for 22.50 and got a best offer of 10.00! almost right away. Do I out and out decline or do I counteroffer something like 20.00? I can't believe it was so low. I understand it's a low ball strategy, but good grief! What strategy do I use? Thanks.

hello tiggerr I did try and pull up your listing, but it's already been pulled off by ebay. Unfortunately, you are SOL because it is up to the seller to authenticate an item. You cannot state that the authenticity is unknown.......See related link below:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/authenticity-disclaimers.html

your buyer can and will probably file a SNAD... (signifantly not as described). The best that you can do is offer her a refund, apologize and hope she doesn't leave a neg. Then move on and don't relist it.

laglassgag. YOU, on the other hand, CAN file a SNAD....... I cant find the link, but search in your "my eBay" to find how to file a SNAD (significantly not as descriped).

Maybe someone else will come in with the direct link for it.

Hopefully you paid with paypal, and if you did pay this way, and they find that you are in the right, paypal will refund the cost of the item and the shipping that it cost you to get it to you. Paypal will not refund the shpping that it will cost you to get it back to the seller. L

All I know is that, you should follow all of the directions that paypal tells you to do, andddd..... please send it back with delivery confirmation because you may have to prove that you sent it back to the seller.

Do NOT leave feedback to the seller (good or bad) until you have your refund back.

Again, I'm hoping someone else will pop in with either a link or better directions to follow.

Merry ChristmahKwanzakah to all of you........ and especially to those of you who I haven't seen in a very long time........

Hey everyone,
I haven't been here in forever and I am hoping I can get some help from someone who has been through either the same or similiar situation.
What happened was I sold a purse about 2 weeks ago to someone with a considerable amout of positive feedback so I figured there would be no issues. There were. The bag was a Coach or what I thought was a Coach. I made sure to put a pic of the serial number and put in my listing all sales final and to ask any questins before bidding figuring if anyone wanted to question the authenticity of the bag that they would do so before bidding or buying. This lady did none of that and is now claiming that she called Coach and gave them the serial number and was told it was a fake. I will admit I should have put authenticity unknown but did not because like I said I figured if anyone wanted to question it they would before purchasing. What I would like to know is, did I do the right thing and should be covered or will I probably have to refund her? Here is the listing number,150398380554, so you can see the listing and tell me if I did anything wrong and if the pics should speak for themselves.
Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

After swearing off e-bay for handbags because of getting sent fakes i ventured back on to purchase a bag that was listed as snakeskin...what i was shopping for and looked nice. I wrote the seller to clarify and when the bag arrived it was EMBOSSED leather, not an actual snakeskin as stated. Now seller indignant that she did nothing wrong and i am out shipping both ways. What does e-bay do to address this or should i just quit buying on e-aby? I have 100% positive feedback, have been buying for over 10 years and hvave spent thousands of dollars. Why can't sellers be honest?

Everyone is scattering for Christmas day. I will fix a turkey xmas day for here with only 6 people ..a lot different then the usual 16 to 18. A nice quiet day. I have ebay stuff all over so will have to hit the listing soon as the holidays are over.
