Reader I sent you an email, but I'll say it here too... Thank you for the 2 pairs of booties! LOL I feel a little bit guilty for giving you a hard time but not too much :)

These are granny squares, pieced together, how smart... The first thing I learned to crochet as a young girl was granny squares, I think I can do them with my eyes closed, so if I run across some yarn and my old crochet needles, look out, there may be more boooooooooooooties coming

I only have time to quick up-date and back to us here. Ernie and I are still an upper respiratory infection. We are getting worse in my mind but lungs, ears heart..all the important stuff is good. Just need to go back in if not better by Monday.

On My Mom I just don't know what to think. I don't get calls and then I wait until I can't wait anymore call and get iffy info. I know she is struggling still at the waking up thing. Another anesthesiologist, If that is what ya call them came and they took her off of morphine. Mike said it may be another 1/2 day before we see...I just don't understand. I can't go to feel things out myself. I am no longer calm..I am cranky so I best head out..I'll up-date when I hear more.

Our close movie rental closed down.. Matter of fact, I just realized they both closed down!! Hollywood video closed down a couple years back, and now blockbuster is going out.. I see alot more of those red box machines in grocery stores and such. Nice you can rent a movie from a vending machine, only one buck a night, so its worth it.

I just miss the video store, bigger selection and as MS said, kids free movies..

I wish family video would go in where blockbusters is!

I am happy that it is Friday!!! Even though I am not working I am still happy for Friday. I don't have to get up out of bed in the morning and run around like crazy to put my daughter on the bus, YES!!!! We don't have hardly anything planned for the weekend either. We might go and rent some movies tonight. I love the place where we go because Kids movies rent for FREE!!!!!

Last up-date for awhile. No call on Mom yet... Ernie and I are just getting worse with this bug. Marshfield says now is time to hit urgent care up here with him and see what if anything needs to fallow...I'm sure it will be hours before we get back but will up-date when I can. Please anyone that can continue prayers, happy thoughts etc. Maybe throw Ernie in there also for some now...

Good Morning...Almost afternoon here. No call yet today. It is about 11:15 am...

Janet, I'm guessing at about 1952- 1954 maybe for that picture. That one is a hard one for me to even tell all the boys with them all together like that I am used to seeing the young ones photoed separately..I think that is my Dad right under Grandpa. My Grandfather had polio as a child and one leg is shorter. We have 2 family sites for years now and all the old pictures get shown and then told who what when..I go and copy pictures here and there to have them.

I'm thinking that the 2 on the left of my Grandmother are the only 2 left now. Glenn the second to the oldest boy, and Ronnie 3 to the youngest...

Most mailing costs are under $10...

I also have many toddler shoes, 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 11.

COATS.. I have girls size 2,3,4,5,6, Boys size 4, 8,10,12 14 16-18 and Ladie's... one in size small and 2 that are XL.

Was reading comments about hair. My son has beautiful thick wavy hair. Yep he had ringlets as a little boy. He keeps his buzz cut too. I gotta pay for curl. How is everyone this morning? I'm late getting my morning computer stuff done. Later today you can view myspace to see pictures of Papa in the shirt & a few pictures of the benefit. I can't seem to be able to post them here. basically it said, how about we do a weekend challenge for Rose Villa, posting old photos... Many of us have had relatives in some of those photos who ended up in nursing homes like Roses... would be a good way to honor them and help someone else, and it sounds like fun seeing old pictures

that reminds me of someone I heard about, it was an elderly person who was not familiar with computers... Her grandson was trying to teach her about them, and about networking sites, so she tried a few but kept getting the names mixed up.. she would say "MyFace" instead of "MySpace" or "Facebook"... then she'd send him a message that creeped him out.. like "I talked to your uncle on my face last night"

Beth..It is hard for me to list as to the time from start to finish with Ernie and all but man times are tough and have been so if it works even with higher then crazy fees I am pushing myself to do that...I'm stocking a small freezer, cupboards etc. Ernie stuff...I'm in a room mate situation with a job but ya know they are few and far between and who knows what tomorrow will bring. Depression era thinking is setting in for us that never saw it. I think we heard enough about it to try and plan and prepare.
