wvseller - Most mounted pheasants are ringnecks. Google some images of pheasants for comparison.

999doodles - Your baseball is worth ONLY what some bidder is willing to pay for it, autographs and all. List it for what you have to have and see what happens. Don't rely on book or appraisal values on eBay. You might get that, but usually you won't.

Why are baseball, basketball and football cards not so hot these days? I have thousands of them, some are older in the 1970's and 80's, and famous atheletes, but I look up their worth in the card collector books and they don't seem to be worth anything. I have no idea why my son collected all of these cards! Any answers? I hope someone can tell me that I am wrong about what they are worth, if not, thousands of cards are going in the dumpster.

veronicawages - Read all the eBay tutorials for sellers. Look for similar listings by others and see how they did it. There are categories for all your items, from Crafts to Sporting Goods.

wynot - Learn to care for PayPal. It's the best security provision you can offer to bidders that your tickets are legit. I mean it. It's not bad.

Not sure if this is ebay issue or my issue. I ship calculated postage stuff worldwide esp into Canada. Ebay allows me the option to use parcel post, but when I take it to the post office they tell me I have to use priority. Needless to say that cuts deeply into any profits. This figures. I am doing this for a family member. I sold the tickets to a first time buyer. No response by phone either. They have a full mailbox. I was hoping to find out what to do. I will be stuck with tickets for a game I can't go to. And the bid was $400. Not like we are talking about relisting. The game is Oct. 25.

Hello - I seek information about starter satin jackets - I am an ex-employee of starter from New Haven, Conn. I have over 400 of these type jackets. I seek info regarding the Orlando Magic white satin jacket. I've only seen one in my time - a youth one in white just like the black one in style. Anybody else ever see one or have one? Hello To All:

I needs helps to resolve the problem this seller. Generally he said, once he received the return UD 1989 set than he will refund my moneys. Basicly the listing describe all cards are great condition but never mention KEY CARD Ken Griffery Jr rookie. When I received I look for it the key card but it show a dent on top left & bottom right hand corner than I email seller said, he agree to refund part of the price. Only acception by return the package than he comment back to me said, I have replaced with a bad card and took the good one but I do had some pictures taken on the first day open the package.
I wants start ebay ideas first before when through Paypal resolution area.

I am curious if someone can tell me where I should start to try and find out the value of hockey sticks that are signed by several 1980 us olympic team usa players, and are team usa sticks, and how do you tell if they were used in the miracle game or just issued to the players for practice during the 1980 Olympics. Two of the sticks are signed by the christian brothers and one of those sticks also contains the signatures of the 1960 christian brothers. I have two team usa sticks and one stick that was issued to reed larsen which is not olympic related as far as I know. gulag - You should have included the cost of shipping in the auction terms when you listed your bike. The buyer is expected to send you one payment that includes the cost of shipping as well as the cost of the item.

olblueyes78 - You can't. That's an eBay feature that's automatically applied. It's supposed to prevent your being contacted during the auction by people you don't want to hear from. The seller can see your real ID, and your real ID will be posted at auction end if you win.

Shipping question. I'm relatively new to eBAy and has a q about shipping. Once there is a winning bidder, do I simply add the final shipping to the winning bid or is it customary to bill for the shipping afterwards? I am selling a bike so the shipping could be as much as $100 - ground. thx.

Help what should I do?

I bid and won a pair of Skis w/ free shipping on 9/11/09 for $ 100.00 w/c was a Great Deal. I tried to pay via paypal in 2days. The seller had put that the item was already paid on 9/11/09, even though I had not paid for the item yet. Contacted him(seller) couple times via email and no response until today (9/14/09). He says the item was stolen from Home and would like to cancel the transaction. I believe he doesnt wanna sell bcuz he didnt put a reserve price and $$ was too low for him.

Should I Accept to Cancel? or Decline request to cancel?
What would U do? Neg feedback?

I unfortunately didn't see any games on T.V. this weekend. My two boys play football and right now wrestling is overlapping with football. So for the next few weeks we are doing practices, games, and meets 6 days a week. So Sunday turns out to be so busy just catching up. Looks like I missed some good games though.

Just ask for a refund and ship it back. Sellers can not leave negative feedback for buyers anymore under any circumstance. (I learned that the hard way) Keep in mind if it truly is a good fake the seller may not have known. I wouldn't be too quick to call them a fraud.

Hey all. So I purchased an "Authentic" Buccaneers NFL Jersey and got it in the mail yesterday. After some research it is clearly a fake. A really good fake, but still a fake.

I am probably going to ask for a refund. But my main concern is the seller is a Power Seller. Has a TON of positive feedback. But their ad is clearly a fraud. States Reebok Authentic. Lists how much the jersey retails for etc....

What should I do?

608- I don't know alot about selling except that they change the rules all the time. Just check the new rules that have come out since the time you have started to have problems. I am sure they have to give you a reason if you stay persistent. If I were you I would definitely stop listing until you get it straightened out.

I have seen a lot of changes, and heard a lot of gripes about the way oBey does things. I'm not sure I'd want to try to be a seller, now. All my FB come from buys. I've read that oBey now wants everyone to buy insurance, along with all the posting fees, and transaction fees from Paypal, which they also own. Their stock has dropped quite a bit over the years. What I buy and sell I do through another List.
