Apple appears to be using a pansy excuse to not fix their computers.

If it isn't stated in the warranty, they should fix it. Change the warranty if they want, but honor what they have.

55 unburied in Detroit? Find a few abandoned houses on a block. Doze them. Dig a trench. Fill it with corpses. Fill trench. Plant a cement marker. Total cost? About $5k. You can use welfare recipients for labor, they aren't doing anything.

PSALM 109
1 ~ O God, whom I praise, do not remain silent,
2 ~ For wicked and deceitful men have opened their mouths against me; they have spoken against me with lying tongues.
3 ~ With words of hatred they surround me; they attack me without cause.
4 ~ In return for my friendship they accuse me, but I am a man of prayer.
5 ~ They repay me evil for good, and hatred for my friendship.
6 ~ Appoint an evil man to oppose him; let an accuser stand at his right hand.
7 ~ When he is tried, let him be found guilty, and may his prayers condemn him.
8 ~ May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership.
9 ~ May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.
10 ~ May his children be wandering beggars; may they be driven from their ruined homes.
11 ~ May a creditor seize all he has; may strangers plunder the fruits of his labor.
12 ~ May no one extend kindness to him or take pity on his fatherless children.
13 ~ May his descendants be cut off, their names blotted out from the next generation.
14 ~ May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord; may the sin of his mother never be blotted out.
15 ~ May their sins always remain before the Lord, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
16 ~ For he never thought of doing a kindness, but hounded to death the poor and the needy and the brokenhearted.
17 ~ He loved to pronounce a curse-- may it come on him; he found no pleasure in blessing-- may it be far from him.
18 ~ He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.
19 ~ May it be like a cloak wrapped about him, like a belt tied forever around him.

Be sure you read this with understanding... And if you use the phrase "the god of your understanding" with any regularity, you will not understand this Psalm...

It is supposed to be the date of her first show.

However, Mayor Daley Blames The Media...

Oprah Winfrey's expected announcement that she'll end her show -- and the prospect that she'll say goodbye to Chicago – has Mayor Daley placing some blame on the media.

Daley said Thursday evening he's going to call Oprah to get the real story. But he's obviously concerned that if she says farewell to this city it'll be a blow to Chicago's image.

The mayor says it was the flap over the show's season opener on Michigan Avenue in September that may have helped set Oprah's travel plans in stone. There was criticism about shutting down the Magnificent Mile for days for the taping. She reimbursed the city for costs related to the closure.

"That became a big rhubarb in the Chicago press -- beat up Oprah," Daley told reporters. "So you keep kicking people, people will leave, simple as that."

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybe Da Mayor should think about people leaving because of his taxes too.

Elections are won by men and women chiefly because most people vote against somebody rather than for somebody.
Franklin P. Adams (1881 - 1960)

A friend of mine sent this to me today. Just thought I'd drop by and leave some more grist for the mill...

http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/wilders.asp

Oh, and here's some more:

If George W. Was an Idiot...

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a TelePrompTer installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVD's, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to "Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would
you have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had misspelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potato as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had OK'ed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11.?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political
issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive?

Ok, I'm going to duck and get outa here. Have a nice weekend, folks!

George Bush Jr only received $7 Million for his, Laura Bush only got $1.6 Million for hers(Very Low Figure, two publishing companies actually passed on her book ) and Sarah received only $1.25 Million.

I guess there is just a Bigger Market for Liberal Books.

Sarah Palin No Match For Bill Clinton: NEW YORK — “Going Rogue” is going big.

Publisher HarperCollins said Friday that Sarah Palin’s memoir sold 300,000 copies its first day, among the best openings ever for a nonfiction book. In 2004, Bill Clinton’s “My Life” debuted with sales of 400,000 copies.

What is Interesting about this is that the Sarah Palin Book is Being Deeply Discounted with Some Stores Selling it for only $9.00 while back in 2004 People were Paying the Fill $35 Price For Bill Clintons.

Still, Hats Off To Sarah, Moving 300,000 copies of her book on the first day is good. Nice To See that Conservatives are Reading

The 'power' of the Supreme Court is almost nil. You cannot get them to make a law, it is not in their power.

The first sentence pretty much covers that, Tony:

Article III

Section 1. The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court....

The Court CANNOT change law, only JUDGE whether the law meets very strictly defined Consitutional parameters.

The problem with trusting the current Supreme Court to manage Constitutional issues is that they have taken to legislating from the bench, instead of following the rule of law. The Supreme Court can't CHANGE the law, they can only rule on whether the law is good or bad. It is up to the legislative branch to change the laws or modify the Constitution.

Let's see....

The Muslim religion is only about 700 or so years old. Wherever the Muslims become powerful, they seek to remove any other form of religion. Can you name another modern religion that does that?

Where Muslims have become intolerable, ancient civilization did their best to remove them and annihilate them, (think Crusades here) why do you think that is?

If the Muslims want to run their society the way it states in the Quran, than so be it, as long as they don't try to impose their way of live on the rest of us, or try to kill us.

It isn't working out that way, as Sharia Law is taking a more important role in traditionially democratic countries (like the UK, Denmark, France).

Perhaps the Crusades had the right idea....
We have a big problem, and no amount of peaceful coexistence is going to work. The Radical Muslims don't WANT to coexist, and the non-radical Muslims apparently are OK with it, or they would STOP IT.
