Used to be about 1000, but I didn't bother to change them to the new silly stuff.

I see someone at the bottom of this page posted that ebay would credit final value and insertion fees. Is it automatic? speculation ? I'm sick of how low my auction ended at, physically tight in my belly :-)(what can ya do...argh! Come on ebay, toss a penny back to the sellers!

Lucky sellers.. Ebay will refund all listing and selling fees because buyers cannot search and bid on items. Past the word to the lucky sellers who have items listed during this outage. Bad news, sellers have to take the loss and cannot cancel sales that have a bid and less than 12 hours left.

THE ELVIS: serves 4:
2 tbls butter, 8 slices bread, 1/2 C peanut butter, 1 banana, sliced, 1/4 C honey, 12 slices cooked bacon: Spread butter on 1 side of bread. On the other side spread peanut butter. About taking MO's and Checks. MANY Sellers state in their listings: I accept PP, MO's and Checks. So I would assume that it is illegal for Ebay to Not allow such ! These sellers I speak of are Power's and Top Sellers.... !

eBay Outage Policy is found here,

and only applies to listing scheduled to end during the outage or in the hour after the end of the outage. In the event of a hard outage of two hours or more, eBay automatically extends listings for 24 hours.

Given that it's impossible to find listings, I'd consider this a hard outage!

Everyone is having problems with search for at least two hours. eBay says 'they are working on it'. Probably trying to find the programmer that hit 'enter' on their work for the day and then went home without checking to make sure it really worked.

Problem is, their missing programmer lives in Pakistan, and doesn't have a home phone or cell phone...

Afternoon DNFErs:
While Search is broken, a couple of comments on new eBay features:
While listing with the SYI form, if sometime during the process I hit the BACK button, I get a "page not found" response. I then have to relog onto ebay, hit SELL and hope that the "do you want to complete the listing you were doing" box is there for me to click.

Another ebay "improvement" that wastes more of my time.

If you file an unpaid item dispute and go all the way through the process and end up filing for the Final Value Fee, eBay has now eliminated the button you clicked to "Add bidder to your blocked bidder list". So Now I have to go to the site map, click on blocked bidder list, and manually put the deadbeats ID into my list. Thanks ebay for wasting more of my time. Did you do this intentionally hoping many sellers would not go to the effort to block non paying bidders? I guess that is bad for the bottom line....may as well let deadbeat bidders keep bidding on your items and not paying for them.
